What Products are Gluten-Free?
All of our chocolates are gluten-free as are our gluten-free brownies. While these items do not contain gluten, they are made in a shared facility with products that do contain gluten.
Where are your products available for sale?
To assure the highest quality and freshness, our products are only for sale here on our website and in our one retail shop in Manchester, Vermont. If you would like to order ahead for pick-up, our retail store also has a website.
How many pieces of Buttercrunch come in a box?
Our 1 pound box contains 28-30 pieces, our 7 ounce box contains 12-15 pieces, and our 4 ounce box contains 8-10 pieces.
How many people does the Lemon Lulu serve?
The small Lemon Lulu is 7 inches and serves approximately 8 people. The large lemon lulu is 9 inches and serves approximately 14 people.
How many people does the Linzer Torte serve?
The small Linzer Torte is 1.5 pounds and 7 inches. It serves approximately 8 people. The large Linzer Torte is 3 pounds and 10 inches. It serves approximately 16 people.
How many people does the Stollen serve?
Our large stollen is 2 pounds and will serve approximately 16 slices.
How many pieces of Rugelach are there in a tin?
The Rugelach is 1 pound and each tin has approximately 11-12 pieces. It is presented in a dusty mauve tin with maroon ribbon.
Are your products allergen friendly?
Even if an item does not contain nuts, our products are made in a facility with nuts on shared surfaces. The Lemon Lulu Cake does not contain any milk or dairy products so it is safe for those who are lactose intolerant. However, it is made on shared surfaces in a facility with dairy products.
Product Care Instructions
How do I care for my Lemon Lulu Cake?
The Lemon Lulu Cake can sit out at room temperature for 10-12 days without the loss of freshness. However, if you do not plan on eating it immediately, we recommend double wrapping it in food film and freezing it. Defrost the cake by keeping it wrapped and allowing it to come to room temperature for about 4 hours. It can be frozen for up to 3 months. We do not recommend refrigerating the cake as the moisture and food odors can affect flavor.
How do I care for my Buttercrunch?
Buttercrunch can sit out at room temperature for 4-6 weeks. However, if you do not plan on eating it immediately, we recommend freezing the candy. It will last 3-4 months frozen. You can let the product thaw at room temperature, but it is also delicious straight from the freezer! We do not recommend refrigerating the product as the moisture and food odors will affect the flavor and texture of Buttercrunch.
How do I care for my Hot Fudge Sauce?
The shelf life of our Hot Fudge Sauce is 3-4 months unopened and approximately 1 month opened in the refrigerator. Crystallization may occur while refrigerated, but the product is still safe to consume.
How do I care for my fudge?
We recommend wrapping fudge tightly in plastic wrap. If wrapped well, it should last 4-6 weeks at room temperature. We do not recommend freezing.
How do I care for my Rugelach?
The Rugelach should be kept in its tin. It has a shelf life of approximately of 2-3 weeks. We do not recommend freezing or refrigerating.
