| Thanks to you... we did it! LEMON LULU FOR THE CURE; A GREAT SUCCESS! Jacki Baker, president of Mother Myrick's Confectionery of Manchester, Vermont along with Debra Lindsey, the company's packaging supervisor, presented a check for $1678.00 to Debbie Peretz, President of the Vermont-New Hampshire Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Annie Janeway, Executive Director and Becky Burke, Race Chair were also in attendance. For the entire month of July, Mother Myrick's donated $2.00 for each Lemon LuLu cake sold in our Manchester, VT store or ordered online from the company's website. All Lemon LuLus were decorated with the ubiquitous pink ribbon as a reminder of the importance of finding a cure for breast cancer. Jacki said "our goal was to sell 500 Lemon Lulu cakes for the cause and, through the generosity of our customers, the company exceeded that goal, selling more than 600 of our most popular cake with many customers leaving an additional cash donation." | Summer time at Mother Myrick's... Chocolate tends to melt in the summer heat, making shipping difficult. But don't despair, we have plenty of great treats that are perfect for enjoying in the summer! A summer list must include Ron's amazing fudge sauce. Served over ice cream.... it just doesn't get better. So good in fact, Yankee Magazine calls it "sinfully good"!
