Shipping and Returns
3.) Shipping Services:
UPS Ground shipping delivery dates can not be guaranteed, only estimated. In order to guarantee that your package will be delivered to a destination that is estimated to arrive in 2 days, utilizing the UPS Second Day Air service will guarantee that it will arrive in 2 days. Please note that during the December holiday season, UPS does NOT guarantee its delivery schedule due to the increased volume of packages. Please allow for extra transit time during this period.
UPS delivers from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. in most areas. Typically, they will deliver to businesses first, and then to residential addresses. Deliveries usually take place before 3:00 p.m. to business addresses.
Residential addresses typically do not require a signature. However, if there is no one at the address to accept the package and the UPS driver does not feel comfortable leaving it for any reason, then s/he is NOT required to leave the package. UPS will make three (3) delivery attempts before returning the package. UPS will leave a note on the door following each delivery attempt.
Business addresses do require a signature, but not from the recipient whose name is on the box. Anyone in the building/shipping department is able to sign for the package. Please be sure to include the company name and floor/suite number if you are sending to an office building.
Second Day Air Service:
UPS offers Second Day Air service which is available for shipping out on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays for arrival on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Next Day Air Service:
UPS offers Next Day Air service which is available for shipping out on Mondays through Thursdays for arrival on Tuesdays through Fridays.
Use Air service where appropriate and to avoid our products being in transit over weekends.
Shipping Lemon Lulu Cakes:
In order for our Lemon Lulu cakes (or orders containing Lemon Lulu cakes) to arrive as fresh as possible, they can be shipped using UPS Ground service on Mondays and Tuesdays provided they are within a 3 day arrival area (AL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MN, NC, SC, TN, and WI), and also on Wednesdays for 1 to 2 day arrival areas (CT, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, VA, VT, WV, and Washington, DC). For all other states, we recommend using Second Day Air or Next Day Air. Please note that we prefer to not have them in transit over weekends.
For New England states (ME, NH, VT, CT, RI, MA, and upstate NY [please refer to the UPS map]), we can ship them on Mondays through Thursdays.
UPS does deliver on Saturdays if required. However, Second Day Air or Next Day Air must be used plus an additional fee of $36.00. Please call us at 888-669-7425 to confirm that Saturday delivery is available for the address requested.
Shipping to PO Boxes, Alaska, and Hawaii:
We are able to ship packages to Post Office boxes, Alaska, and Hawaii via the United States Postal Service using Priority Mail or Express Mail service. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii must be mailing addresses only. The basic charges to ship these packages are the same as the UPS Ground rates for PO boxes; however, for Alaska and Hawaii addresses, please add $6.00 to the UPS Ground rates for Priority Mail or $12.00 to the UPS Ground rates for Express Mail. Extra charges may apply based on the size and weight of the box and will be billed to your credit card accordingly. Please call us at 888-669-7425 for shipping rates.
Shipping to Canada:
We use the United States Postal Service Priority Mail International for packages being sent to Canada addresses. Your package should arrive within 6 to 10 business days provided there is no hold up in Customs. Please use the Second Day Air rates in the chart above for a close estimate of your shipping charges. Extra charges may apply based on the size and weight of the box and will be billed to your credit card accordingly. Please call us at 888-669-7425 for more information on shipping rates to Canada.

4.) Warm Weather Shipping:
From May 1st to October 1st and year round to warm climates such as Arizona, Texas, Florida, and Southern California, we package our chocolates with ice packs in insulated containers where the destination area is expected to exceed 72 degrees (F) on the arrival date. We do not charge for this extra packaging. All such orders must ship to arrive within 1 to 2 business days and never be in transit over a weekend. If the shipping address is located in the 1 to 2 day shipping range (in the map above), then UPS Ground can be used. Otherwise, please select UPS Second Day Air or UPS Next Day Air shipping for your order. Please alert your recipient to have someone available to receive the package, eliminating the possibility of the package being left unattended and subject to heat damage. 5.) Tracking of Packages:
Once your packages have been shipped, we will send you an email with the shipping information including the tracking number. To track the progress of your package, simply scroll down to the bottom of the SHIP eLERT page and click on the link which will take you to the tracking information on the carrier’s website. Do not hesitate to call us at 888-669-7425 if you are having any problems with the tracking page. Have your order number ready and we will track your package for you.
6.) Redirection of Packages to a Different Address:
There will be a $10.00 charge applied to your credit card in the event an order must be redirected or reshipped to a corrected or different address other than the one provided.
